Below is the rating system that I follow :
★★★★★ – LOVED, LOVED, LOVED 
★★★★ – I really liked the book. I will recommend it to the target audience for that book.
★★★ – This is a good book. I enjoyed it but didn't love it.
 ★★ – It's giving '😖,' trouble to finish or read.
 ★ – I regret reading and gave up after reading 50 pages.

Over time, I have better understood the types of books that resonate with me. As a result, I tend to avoid picking up books that I am likely to rate poorly. Therefore, you will rarely see 1-star or 2-star ratings on my blog.

I am open to reading books of every genre, provided they hold my interest. However, I prefer the following (in order of preference):-

  1. Fantasy
  2. Contemporary fiction/Literary fiction
  3. Romance
  4. Women’s Fiction
  5. Young Adult and middle-grade fiction
  6. Thriller/Mystery/Suspense
  7. Non-fiction

I read both digital ( epub, mobi) and print copies. I live in Toronto, Canada. Hence, w.r.t print copies. Please contact me only if you’re okay with mailing books to Canada. 


Please provide a description/blurb and the publication date of your book. Also, provide your book with the Amazon/Goodreads link. If your book is accepted, I will feature it in my blog & cross-post it on Goodreads (and Instagram).


I provide honest reviews. I don’t attack the author; I only discuss the book. All reviews are free. I reserve the right to decline a review request. Please give me credit (that is, use my name/link back to the review on my blog) if you want to quote from my review. If I do not like the book enough to rate it above 2 stars, I’m flexible enough not to post its review on my blog, but I’ll rate it on Goodreads. If I DNFed the book, I’ll let you know.
