About Me
Hi,
Welcome to my blog!
I am Chitti. I started this space because I think learning doesn’t end when degrees do. After finishing my PhD in Materials Science, I realized I still wanted to read — not for deadlines or citations, but for curiosity. Slower. Softer. With room to wonder.
This blog is where I write about the things that stay with me — science books, reflections on academia, and the quiet experience of being someone who is always learning. Sometimes that looks like breaking a concept down. Sometimes it’s a thought about how knowledge changes the way we see everyday life.
I move between fiction and science, between structured research and messy curiosity. As a south asian reader and someone navigating life after academia, I care about making learning feel accessible and less intimidating. Science doesn’t have to feel distant. It can be thoughtful, emotional, and deeply human.
You’ll find science reading notes, gentle explanations, bookish thoughts, and occasional reflections about creativity, identity, and the small rituals that make learning feel meaningful.
This is a space for people— especially if you’ve ever felt like you needed permission to understand something.
I’m glad you’re here.
